Hi Twirlies!! I HAD to break the way too long silence today. A million thanks to the vim juice provided by Mr. Benjamin Anyan. When I grow up, in the blogging game, I wanna be juuuuust like you. Go follow his blog at www.goldinwords.com everyone. Warning, it’s addictive.

So, for today’s blog, I want to show you guys photos from one of the weddings planned & coordinated by Purple Twirl for one of my favourite couples, Anne & Charles.

You guys, this couple had an invisible “love me” sign on their foreheads that only vendors could see. Every vendor went the extra mile for this adorable pair just because of that sign I tell you. I have no other reason. Planning their big day unleashed a lot of ideas & creativity that matched their vision perfectly. This client-planner relationship was a match made in wedding planner heaven I tell you.

First time we met was at the African Regent Hotel. I arrived way ahead of our scheduled meeting & noticed a couple walk in and thought what a cute couple! I called Anne’s phone at the time we scheduled & that’s when I found out they were my couple! I went to their table and we laughed and hugged like we were long lost friends who hadn’t been in touch for years! We hit it off instantly. The planning process was a breeze & the day was beautiful, enjoyed & appreciated by all. The proof is in the pics 😉(Future brides(and grooms) it is crucial to have a good relationship with your planner. I cannot emphasize this enough)

So! Their beautiful wedding ceremony was at Agape House followed by an intimate reception with close family and friends at Crystal Park in East Legon. It was such a fun wedding with amazing MCing by comedian Eddie Kadi and music by Big L, both friends of the couple. Eddie literally started the reception off with a dance off between 2 guests right after the couples entrance! What a way to start a party! Reception ended officially at 7pm, and then the after party started. Boy, did they party! I had to leave ooo, these people had too much energy, I couldn’t keep up.lol. Word is, they left after 11pm! I would’ve died. 😂😂

My favorite part of the entire day was when the couple & guests took a breather, mid-partying, to view a slideshow of photos of Anne & Charles, a surprise he had arranged for her. It was such an awww moment…literally.
